Day 4: Fire Alarm

March 31, 2010
Today as I was sitting in the library at McGill, the fire alarm went off. I don't know what exactly was on fire, but look at the sheer number of people streaming out of the buildings! I had to get a picture.

(I'm secretly hoping that a fire in the library will mean I don't have to do this 20 page final paper....)

Day 3: Passover

March 30, 2010
On the second night of Passover, my roommate and I conducted a passover seder late at night. Suffice to say it was not entirely traditional...
We used a potato sprout in place of a shankbone, as we are both vegetarian, and we read the Haggadah off of the internet. Also, I couldn't find matzah anywhere, so I tried to make some myself. Next time I won't make it with whole wheat flour.
Chag Sameah!

Day 2: Writing

March 29, 2010
Today was a very unexciting day. I wrote an essay (am still in the process), and sent two letters off to dear friends.

Day 1: Birthday

March 28, 2010
My birthday! Here is the start of my year-long photojournal, the year I am 20 years old.
This birthday, my friend and roommate took me on a long run up the mountain. We stopped to do yoga at the top, though I didn't get a picture of that!
Meanwhile, my other roommates and friends set up the spare (previously ugly) room we have, putting plastic on the floor and getting tubs of paint and squirt bottles. The plan: Go at it with the paint flinging
It was the best thing they could have organized!
Here's what happened...

I mean, who's never fantasized about throwing paint around disregarding all clothing, walls, floors.....?
