Ema was just a few days from leaving for the Galapagos Islands on a conservation trip, so here she is modelling her new conservation-work-allowing, head-sitting umbrella. Along with leopard-print slippers, a hippie skirt, a cherry shirt and bug glasses. How could I not have taken a picture? I love that she wears the strangest combinations - she looks this strange much of the time. Somehow, she usually pulls it off.
Much of April was spent sitting on our balcony. We get sun almost all day on that side of the apartment, and we were studying for exams.
